Here’s a quick overview of everything we are offering in the youth room!

Join us in the Imagination Station on Mondays for our Tots and Tykes playgroup – a program for caregivers and their littles to meet and play with one another in in the Library. The program is open to caregivers and their littles to participate in activities, circle times, songs, and more!

This drop-in group meets every Monday from 10:00 to 11:30 and is best for the littlest members of the community, but older siblings are also welcome! We hope to see you there!

Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am we are pleased to present our Fall Book Buddy Story Time, where you and your favorite buddy can listen to a story and have a snack at the library! Registration is required for this program, and we can’t wait to see you there.

On Wednesdays we are offering a brand new Drop in Craft! Each week we shall provide a new seasonal take-home craft for you to enjoy. This offering is on a first-come, first-served basis – so don’t wait!

Beginning this September, we are going to offer a book club open to students of all ages! We are partnering with the Massachusetts Center for the Book, and will be encouraging all kiddos to participate in the monthly challenges to win prizes for reading.

How does the book club work?

– Choose a book that fits the monthly challenge prompt. What you read is up to you!
– Meet up once a month to talk about what you chose with other library friends.
– Earn prizes for reading 4, 8, and 12 books during the program.
– If you are interested in entering a larger raffle each month from the Center for the Book, click here!

Meetings will happen on the last Wednesdays of every month. We will have snacks and drinks on offer, so be sure to swing by for a treat.

We hope to see you there! Happy reading!
