Need a Space to Meet?

The Palmer Public Library offers a selection of private meeting spaces, most of which can be reserved in advance. Below, you can find detailed information about these meeting spaces and instructions on how to make a reservation.

Meeting Room Descriptions


Community Room

Location: First floor, Town Square area

Capacity: 100

Amenities:

  • Projector and screen
  • 8 long tables and chairs
  • Podium
  • Microphone
  • Piano
  • WiFi access
  • Limited kitchen facilities across the hall, including sink, refrigerator, and microwave

The Community Room can be booked in advance for larger meetings and presentations. When not in use, the room is open to the public and houses an art gallery showcasing the talents of local artists. This is the only meeting space where food and beverages are permitted.


Three Rivers Room

Location: First floor, near main entrance

Capacity: 10

Amenities:

  • Conference table and 10 chairs
  • Screen
  • WiFi access

The Three Rivers Room can be booked in advance for smaller meetings, tutoring, interviews, etc. It is also available on a first-come, first-served basis for quiet study when not in use, but it cannot be reserved in advance for that purpose. Food and beverages are not permitted in this room.


Thorndike Room

Location: First floor, reading area

Capacity: 8

Amenities:

  • Conference table and 8 chairs
  • Screen
  • WiFi access

The Thorndike Room can be booked in advance for smaller meetings, tutoring, interviews, etc. It is also available on a first-come, first-served basis for quiet study when not in use, but it cannot be reserved in advance for that purpose. Food and beverages are not permitted in this room.


How to Book a Room

  • Complete and submit a Reservation Form before your first reservation (and annually for returning groups).
  • Review and sign the Policy for Use of Palmer Public Library Facilities and Statement of Responsibility Form prior to your first use of a meeting space (and annually for returning groups).
  • Future bookings for the same group may be done by phone, but a Reservation Form is required for each request (multiple dates may be listed on Reservation Form). All documentation will be kept on file for a year, at which point returning groups will be asked to resubmit.
