
We’re commemorating America’s 250th birthday on July 4, 1776, as well as the signing of Palmer’s own Declaration of Independence signed on June 17, 1776.

- Saturday, January 17th : Knox 250 Event at the Springfield Armory. The Palmer Historical Commission and the Palmer Public Library displayed the 1976 BiCentennial Commemorative Quilt.
- Saturday, April 18th – 10:00AM – 2:00PM : Knox 250 Event at the Palmer Public Library. Commemorative 1976 Quilt on Display and Knox Trail presentation by Local Historian Dennis Picard.
