Become a part of tomorrow’s history… today by contributing to our Palmer personal history & story project!

Join the Palmer Public Library, the Palmer Historical & Cultural Center (PHCC), the Palmer Historical Commission, and the Elbow Plantation Historical Society in our new collaborative project to help preserve the amazing history and stories of Palmer and its residents!

The goal of this project is to collect recorded interviews from people who have stories to tell about life in Palmer. To participate, download and print a kit from our website, or pick one up at the library. This kit will guide you through the interview process with someone (friend, relative, or someone from a different generation) who has past & present Palmer stories to share. Record at home or complete the form below to schedule an appointment. Recording sessions will be held at PHCC or the handicapped-accessible M-PACT studio.

We’re looking forward to hearing your great Palmer stories and memories!

Record at home or request to have your interview recorded at either M-PACT or PHCC with the form below.
