In June of 1776, the inhabitants of Palmer unanimously declared their support of independence from Great Britain.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye: At 11:00AM, hear the bold words of Palmer’s founding fathers, read from the steps of the
Palmer Historical & Cultural Center!  
Then, from 1:00-3:00PM, party like it’s 1976
at the Palmer Public Library! Flashback with Palmer’s 1976 Bicentennial parade video & photo exhibit and don’t miss the
Bicentennial recap at 1:30PM!
Sign the 250th commemorative scroll, view Palmer’s original historical document, browse the Revolutionary War museum display and enjoy crafts and cake.
